Rick Witt is a seasoned architect and business strategist who oversees AE Works’ client acquisition, retention, and strategic partnerships. In his role as Executive Vice President, Client Strategy & Engagement and Chief Client Officer, he sets firmwide capture priorities, ensures our services align with evolving market needs, and guides the client journey from initial engagement through project closeout.

With a thirty-year career spanning design, project management, operations, and business development, Rick brings comprehensive A/E expertise to every engagement. As a registered architect who has led projects exceeding $100 million in construction value, he combines technical insight with strategic vision to strengthen firm positioning and drive client retention. Under his leadership, the firm has increasingly diversified experience across markets, deepened long-term client relationships, and strengthened our consulting and project-service offerings—expanding AE Works’ footprint to all 50 states.
