AE Works mobilized quickly to get this prominent hospitality venue back up and running in just a week following the unexpected collapse of the circa 1893 building’s historic rotunda ceiling.  To progress the restoration in a condensed time frame, AE Works responded with a turnkey design-led design-build team to oversee design, budget and construction.  The result is the project staying on track throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

This project was recognized with a 2021 Pittsburgh AIA Merit Award. The Jury comments on the design: “This was a beautifully executed restoration. It is a sensitive and thoughtful approach that will endure. They made it look easy, but it is not easy.”

Club + Resort Business documented the restoration.  Read the article: Edgeworth Club’s Remarkable “Fall and Rise"
