Project Types

We modernize campus fiber and telecom systems to deliver secure, high-bandwidth connectivity. Our designs plan for growth—clear pathways, diverse routing, and standards-based layouts—so adding capacity or new technology is streamlined.

We design and upgrade existing data centers and facilities to improve performance, efficiency, and uptime. Work is phased to keep operations online while we add power and cooling headroom, refresh controls, and prepare for higher-density computing.

We design building systems that can’t go down—power, cooling, and controls—with built-in redundancy (e.g., N+1), backup generation, and room to expand. The result is reliable infrastructure that supports today’s needs and tomorrow’s growth with uninterrupted power supply.

Bay Pines VA Medical Center, Electronic Health Records Modernization
AE Works’ team of Registered Communications Distribution Designers, engineers, architects and designers completed a site-wide telecommunications upgrade that spanned the entire Bay Pines VA Medical Center campus, over 1.5M-square feet, and 28 buildings. This campus wide project focused on increasing the standard of the VA’s data and telecommunications facilities.
