AE Works delivers resilient, scalable data center solutions—from assessments and approvals to robust, standards-based infrastructure. With integrated expertise in enterprise, colocation, and edge facilities, we reduce risk and keep mission critical operations online.
These projects span modern data centers, new central utility buildings, data center infrastructure improvements, and other mission critical facilities.
With an average construction value of $7M.
Collectively, the team brings over 200 years of experience in delivering large-scale infrastructure projects, including power generation, mission-critical facilities, data centers, and central plants.
Our team brings proven expertise across enterprise, colocation, and edge facilities—designing robust power, cooling, and security systems aligned to Uptime Institute, BICSI, TIA-942, and DCEP standards. With architects, engineers, and planners working as one integrated team, we reduce risk and keep mission critical operations online.
Project Types
We modernize campus fiber and telecom systems to deliver secure, high-bandwidth connectivity. Our designs plan for growth—clear pathways, diverse routing, and standards-based layouts—so adding capacity or new technology is streamlined.
We design and upgrade existing data centers and facilities to improve performance, efficiency, and uptime. Work is phased to keep operations online while we add power and cooling headroom, refresh controls, and prepare for higher-density computing.
We design building systems that can’t go down—power, cooling, and controls—with built-in redundancy (e.g., N+1), backup generation, and room to expand. The result is reliable infrastructure that supports today’s needs and tomorrow’s growth with uninterrupted power supply.
Case Study
Bay Pines VA Medical Center, Electronic Health Records Modernization
AE Works’ team of Registered Communications Distribution Designers, engineers, architects and designers completed a site-wide telecommunications upgrade that spanned the entire Bay Pines VA Medical Center campus, over 1.5M-square feet, and 28 buildings. This campus wide project focused on increasing the standard of the VA’s data and telecommunications facilities.
