Our Approach

Today’s competitive and disruptive market requires speed, agility and creative solutions. AE Works’ turnkey total architectural solution for tenant improvements does just that. Working closely with Matthews International on their renovation, we worked quickly to reconfigure an existing space into a “move in ready” completely furnished office.

Starting with a furniture solution first, AE Works provided design options followed by a complete package with the needed architecture and engineering services. AE Works’ comprehensive solution included development of design options, carpet, private offices, workstations, conference room, lounge, lobby furniture, layout and installation for the selected option.

Applying workplace best practices, the design integrates flexibility with a variety of spaces for staff to do their work, including lounges, open cafe-style seating, private and open workstations. Complete with upgraded HVAC and lighting, the renovation provides a clean, modern space ready to welcome staff back to the office.

Impact

This 20,000-SF renovation design was delivered in 30 days. We provided a cost upfront to help our client’s planning, rather than waiting on bidding. Additionally, because of our turnkey delivery, we were able to reduce the time of construction by 3-4 months without sacrificing quality. The result is an established cost benchmark and project standard.


The new office furniture includes floor to ceiling glass wall systems that can be moved around for flexibility, new carpet, furniture layouts designed to support any office meeting, and workspaces perfectly situated to provide all staff with natural light and views of the beautiful Pittsburgh skyline and Allegheny river.
