Founder Michael Cherock Shares Inspirational Message at Tapas Talk

AE Works Founder & CEO Michael Cherock, PE, delivered an inspiring keynote at the final Tapas Talks event of the season, engaging more than 120 attendees with a message rooted in discipline, resilience, and purpose.

During his talk, Mike reflected on his personal journey from growing up in Penn Hills, to serving in the U.S. Navy, to pursuing studies at Penn State University and Harvard University. These experiences, he shared, have shaped both his leadership philosophy and the values that guide AE Works.

Drawing on lessons from high-stakes environments, Mike discussed how discipline and courage influence the way we build, lead, and serve our clients and communities. He encouraged attendees to recognize the “hero” within themselves and to take action in their own spheres of influence.
