Designed by AE Works, construction is beginning on Lincoln University's newest residence hall with an expected completion of early 2027. Lincoln University is advancing its commitment to enhancing the student living experience with the development of a new Apartment-Style Living (ASL) facility on campus. This modern residence hall, adjacent to an existing ASL facility, aligns with the University’s strategic plan to expand high-quality housing options that support student success.
APPROACH: Designed as a four-story structure, the new ASL facility will accommodate between 315 and 365 students in four-bedroom, full-suite living units. This arrangement balances private sleeping quarters with shared kitchen, living, and bathroom spaces, fostering both personal comfort and community engagement. Beyond residential spaces, the facility will feature a main lobby, a communal kitchen, and a versatile multipurpose room, all aimed at enriching student interactions and creating a living-learning environment.
IMPACT: This development represents a significant step in meeting the increasing demand for modern, on-campus housing that enhances both academic and social experiences. With an estimated size of 105,000-SF, the facility will provide ample space for student accommodations while promoting a strong sense of community. By offering a thoughtfully designed living environment, Lincoln University reinforces its dedication to student well-being, engagement, and success, ensuring a vibrant and supportive campus experience for years to come.
