Bay Pines VA Medical Center, Electronic Health Records Modernization

AE Works’ team of Registered Communications Distribution Designers, engineers, architects and designers completed a site-wide telecommunications upgrade that spanned the entire Bay Pines VA Medical Center campus, over 1.5M-square feet, and 28 buildings. This campus wide project focused on increasing the standard of the VA’s data and telecommunications facilities.

    Data Center Upgrades


    Work included upgrade of facility fiber to (76) Tele/Comm and PBX/Telecom Demarcation and Data Center Rooms, install/upgrade of (8400) IT and electrical outlets and (175) 48 port patch panels.

    Renovation of the existing data center includes power distribution and HVAC upgrades, physical security assessment and improvements, and hazardous materials remediation and abatement to support this comprehensive campus infrastructure project
